Job Summary
Facilitate professional development workshops and manage the Rockefeller Fellowship lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and structured check-ins for graduate students. Develop curriculum aligned with employer expectations, create ADA-compliant training materials, and monitor attendance to refine delivery. Build relationships with cultural institutions and faculty while tracking progress in Airtable and distributing evaluations. Support program administration by managing recruitment outreach, maintaining cohort databases, and assisting with application reviews. Work Wednesday through Friday with travel across NYC cultural sites.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in developing and facilitating professional development workshops
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage and guide diverse stakeholders, including CUNY students, arts and cultural organizations, and campus faculty
- Experience using design and presentation tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite, and PowerPoint to deliver effective training materials
- Proficiency in program management tools, including Microsoft Office 365 (especially Excel), Zoom, Airtable, and other software, with the ability to quickly learn new platforms as needed
- Ability to travel to multiple sites throughout NYC
- Ability to lift items up to 20 pounds
- Availability to work 3 days per week (Wednesday–Friday)
- Availability to travel within the NYC metropolitan area as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with at least one year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience or strong interest in the arts and cultural sector
- Experience in mentoring or career coaching
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and take initiative
