Inspect demolded cultured marble, granite, or solid surface products for chips, air bubbles, seams, or scratches. Repair surface imperfections by mixing and applying color-matched gel-coats, catalysts, and epoxy resins. Use pneumatic air tools, grinders, and sanders to trim flashing, level backsplashes, and smooth rough edges. Operate variable-speed buffers with progressively finer abrasive pads to achieve matte or high-gloss finishes. Measure final dimensions against product orders and templates to verify strict quality specifications. Clean and maintain sanders, buffers, ventilation booths, and hand tools daily. Wear required PPE including respirators, eye protection, and safety shoes while adhering to chemical handling and dust control protocols. Work Monday through Friday from 6am to 2:30pm.
