Job Summary
Cultural Resources Specialist with field surveys, monitoring, and documentation on environmental/infra projects in Utah. Perform archaeological surveys, excavation support, construction monitoring, and field documentation; identify archaeological and paleontological resources; coordinate with project teams, tribal representatives, and agency staff; travel to project sites and navigate rugged terrain; support curation tasks and additional cultural resource assignments as needed. Requires outdoor fieldwork, ability to work in variable schedules including some night work, valid driver's license, and 4x4 vehicle experience; 25+ years old to operate company vehicles. Located in Saratoga Springs, UT. Pay range $22.00-$30.00 per hour; extensive benefits and ESOP. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, Paleontology, Geology, or related field, or equivalent field experience
- Ability to work independently in outdoor and potentially adverse field conditions
- Ability to conduct fieldwork for extended periods and navigate rugged terrain while carrying equipment and supplies
- Flexibility to work variable schedules, including possible night work, based on project needs and weather conditions
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record
- Experience driving 4x4 vehicles in remote or undeveloped terrain
- Must be at least 25 years old to operate company vehicles
- Archaeological or paleontological field experience in Utah or the western United States is a plus
