Job Summary
Cultivation Technician wanted to grow cannabis at TerrAscend. Responsibilities include propagation tasks such as cutting and sticking clones, clone care and maintenance, and managing clone and mother rooms; monitor environmental factors (light, temperature, humidity, moisture) to ensure quality; inspect crops for pests and disease and implement IPM; care for plants during vegetative and generative growth (transplanting, pruning, staking, training); harvest and process harvested material, weigh and record in the state’s tracking system, and assist with drying/curing; support processing, packaging during peak times; operate and maintain cultivation systems (lighting, irrigation, climate control), stock and clean workspaces; ensure compliance with state policies and SOPs; perform other tasks as assigned. Requires ability to lift 50 lbs, sit/stand for extended periods, wear PPE, work with chemicals, and pass background checks. High School Diploma or GED required and applicant must meet state requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
- Horticulture experience preferred but not necessary
- Ability to execute techniques accurately and consistently
- Good documentation, inventory, and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain punctuality and attendance
- Applicant must meet all state requirements
