Job Summary
Conduct daily plant care including topping, bottoming, transplanting, defoliating, and training cannabis plants while adhering to national grow models. Scout for disease or insects, maintain grow media, and manage harvest operations from room preparation to hanging plants on dry racks. Perform comprehensive sanitation by sweeping, mopping, and cleaning plant housing devices and tables. Calibrate tools and equipment, maintain pots, and accurately perform record keeping. Report safety incidents, comply with GMP and biosecurity standards, and escalate quality concerns to management. Work in an 85+ degree, high-humidity environment, lifting up to 50 pounds, and operate at heights using catwalks and ladders.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Must possess valid state ID
- Must be able to obtain, and maintain, state badging requirements in order to work in in cannabis industry (requires background check and state review)
- Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in an environment that is 85+ degrees and 70% humidity for extended periods
- Must be able and willing to work at heights 6ft-8ft high using catwalk platforms, ladders, platform ladders, and scaffolds
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree or certifications
- Prior cannabis experience
