Job Summary
Cultivation Technician II at Trulieve in Hancock, MD, provides hands-on, manual labor within the Cultivation department to support day-to-day plant production tasks and sanitation, with potential cross-support to flower and propagation. Responsibilities include pruning, topping, defoliation, low-stress training, irrigation, culling and disposing of green waste, sanitation, PPE compliance, and assisting in training Cultivation Technician I teammates; all work is performed in a grow-room environment following company guidelines. Requires High School Diploma or equivalent, minimum age 21 (18 in certain states), successful completion of a background screening, and demonstrated communication, collaboration, and organizational skills; cultivation experience is preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience; comprehensive benefits are offered; remote work is not available for this role.
Required Qualifications
- Must be proficient and achieve goals in all Cultivation Technician I skill assessments
- Must be active in the Cultivation Technician I role for minimum of 9 months to qualify for Cultivation Technician II role
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum age 21 (18 in CT, PA and WV)
- Comprehensive background screening
- Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- Works well in team environment
- Attention to detail
- Punctual
- Cultivation experience preferred
