Job Summary
Conduct daily cultivation operations including repopulating, harvesting, and cleaning flowering rooms while performing canopy management and routine maintenance. Monitor plant health, soil moisture, and environmental metrics; scout for pests and pathogens; and operate industrial equipment like shredders and scissor lifts per safety protocols. Manage crop steering, airflow, and drip irrigation systems; apply pesticides with proper PPE and complete required documentation. Maintain facility cleanliness and comply with all SOPs and regulatory standards. Work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and potential exposure to fumes and heights.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age to work within the OH MMCP
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Ability to climb a ladder
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds
- Ability to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout a workday
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Comfortable working in an environment with constant video surveillance
- Ability to work around plants
- Ability to work in a warehouse setting with temperatures varying from warm to cool
- Ability to work in environments with fumes, dust, odors, heights, indoor AC, no AC, motion, noise, high humidity, bright lights, and CO2 supplementation
- Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Experience in any relevant trades, including horticulture, food handling, etc.
