Job Summary
Conduct cutting, pruning, planting, watering, and fertilizing of plants throughout all grow cycles. Participate in grow room preparation, maintenance, and sanitation before, during, and after cycles and harvests. Transport plants via carts and by hand while ensuring compliance with safety and quality procedures. Maintain facility cleanliness through sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing tools and equipment. Work with soil, plants, and water in a greenhouse and manufacturing environment. This physically demanding role requires lifting up to 50lbs, wearing all required PPE, and having personal transportation access. The position offers a competitive hourly range of $18-$20.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years prior experience as a grower or a similar processing role in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to wear all required PPE
- Must have access to personal means of transportation - this location is not accessible by public transportation
- Must be able to lift/move heavy objects (up to 50lbs)
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience working with plants or in a greenhouse environment is considered an asset
