Culinary Team - Chef De Partie

Job Summary
Lead and set the standard for our kitchen team as Chef de Partie. You will work on the line, salad, and prep stations, prepare foods according to recipes, manage mise en place, minimize waste, stock and rotate inventory, and coordinate with the Sous Chef on departmental priorities. You will ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation that meets NYCHD safety standards, supervise station setup, control the pace of the ticket flow, operate and maintain kitchen equipment, and contribute innovative culinary ideas.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform essential job functions safely and successfully with ADA, FMLA, and other standards
- Regular, punctual attendance
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Stand for prolonged periods
- Move about on foot within property; bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms
- Climb stairs regularly
- Experience in leading kitchen stations and managing mise en place
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards per NYCHD
