Job Summary
Oversee preparation, cooking, and presentation of food; supervise kitchen staff; coordinate workflow between kitchen and service staff; train team on standards, procedures, safety, and sanitation (HACCP, ServeSafe); assist Executive Chef with menus, supply requisition, and BEO review; lead kitchen during Statehouse events and ensure quality, consistency, and presentation standards; enforce proper food storage and labeling; communicate with front-of-house, sales, and kitchen teams on timing and requests; attend BEO meetings; manage staff scheduling; uphold hotel brand standards and guest service philosophy; 3+ years in a high-volume kitchen; flexible for nights, weekends, and holidays; strong leadership and teamwork; proficient English; able to lift up to 50 pounds.
