Job Summary
Lead and mentor culinary associates; hands-on kitchen production across breakfast, lunch, dinner, butchery, receiving, and sanitation; maintain mise en place, quality standards, proper seasoning, and presentation; recruit, hire, and onboard staff; foster a respectful, accountable kitchen environment and drive Forbes Five-Star standards; uphold health, safety, and sanitation protocols; work peak hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays; lift up to 50 lbs; contribute to building a high-performing culinary team; maintain organization and professional appearance per Umstead standards; ensure training and development of teammates in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous Sous Chef or comparable leadership experience
- Experience in Forbes Five-Star or Michelin-starred environment preferred
