Job Summary
Manage the culinary service department by directing dining staff, enforcing food service standards, and ensuring compliance with city and state regulations. Coordinate closely with nursing staff to meet resident needs, order supplies, maintain inventory control, and achieve budgetary guidelines. Must be willing and able to cook daily in the kitchen. This role supports The Waterford at Plymouth, a premier retirement community in Plymouth, WI, offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care services.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years' experience as an Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager or Culinary Director in restaurants, hotels, SNF, or senior living
- An associate degree or better in Culinary Arts, Food Science, or Hospitality Management or Certified Executive Chef (CEC, ACF)
- Serve Safe Certification or Certified Dining Manager (CDM)
- Must be willing and able to cook daily in the kitchen
