Job Summary
Set up trays and tables, serve residents in the dining room and on the tray line, and bus trays while pouring and covering beverages. Assist in preparing and covering food, clean work areas, and ensure proper care of kitchen equipment. Follow oral and written directions, observe infection control procedures, and understand therapeutic diets. Attend in-service training programs and work in other hospitality areas such as housekeeping and laundry when called upon. Meet meal schedules and maintain a friendly, courteous manner with residents, families, and staff. Work 6am–2pm or 11pm–7pm shifts, including every other weekend and holidays.

- Follow facility safety programs
- Come to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality
- Accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner
- Assume accountability for data contained in the Staff Handbook
- Relate to residents, families, and staff in a friendly, courteous and helpful manner
- Meet meal schedules
- Understand and comply with the Corporate Compliance Program

- Work every other weekend and holiday
