Job Summary

Develop the curriculum for the Culinary Essentials and Culinary Management department and supervise, coordinate, and regularly direct all employees in the academic program. Assist the Campus President with faculty recruitment, orientation, and training, while providing recommendations to the Campus Dean regarding hiring, firing, promotions, and disciplinary actions. Organize student orientations, graduation ceremonies, and Program Advisory Committee meetings, and monitor student attendance and attrition. Research and implement technological changes in the field, teach courses as required, and exercise independent judgment on specific subject matter areas. Travel as required and perform other special projects assigned by leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Four (4) years of experience in culinary arts (chef, prep work, kitchen management)
  • One (1) year of teaching experience
  • An associate's degree or higher in culinary arts, business, or a related discipline
