Job Summary
Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service, while developing new menu items and managing culinary staff. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, control food costs and inventory, and maintain high standards of quality and guest satisfaction. Monitor kitchen equipment and facilities, coordinating necessary maintenance and repairs. Collaborate with management on event planning and special menus. Requires minimum of two years in a leadership role, daytime and weekend availability, and experience with cost control and scheduling. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of (2) years as a Culinary Manager, Executive Chef, or similar leadership role in a full-service restaurant
- Able to effectively manage staff
- A true passion for food and food preparation
- Ability to follow recipes and replicate food production procedures
- Experience with cost control, budgeting, inventory control and scheduling
- Knowledge of business process and functions
- Excellent motivation and communication skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Problem-solving mind set
- Daytime and weekend availability
Desired Qualifications
