Job Summary
Join Newport Restaurant Group's Culinary Management Development Program (CMDP), a selective 23-week on-the-job training for culinary school graduates. This full-time program combines hands-on culinary experience with structured leadership training, operational responsibility, and a pathway to become a Sous Chef. Candidates must have strong communication skills, a willingness to work flexible schedules, and the ability to lift 25-50 pounds. Upon successful completion, graduates will progress through NRG’s Culinary Career Ladder within a supportive, employee-owned company.
Required Qualifications
- Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed
- Must be currently enrolled in a collegiate culinary program, or have graduated within the last 12 months
- Must complete the application in full and be able to submit an academic letter of reference
