Job Summary
Culinary Lead role overseeing kitchen operations at Five Iron Golf locations in NYC. Responsibilities include opening/closing the kitchen, preparing appetizers and entrees, ensuring proper food prep and sanitation, maintaining cleanliness, collaborating with front-of-house, directing food preparation, assisting with hiring/training, evaluating staff performance, managing kitchen operations and facilities, maintaining up-to-date menu/recipes, developing efficient kitchen processes, monitoring inventory, ensuring staff hold current food handling licenses, and supporting scheduling and labor cost management. Requires 3+ years as a line cook, 1+ year of management experience, health and safety credentials, flexibility with hours, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Salary: $24-$26/hour. Job Type: Full Time. Schedule: Nights and weekends. Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience as a line cook
- At least 1 year management experience
- Credentials in health and safety training
- Certification that meets local requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs during normal operations
- Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each guest
