Culinary Field Specialist
On-siteBaton Rouge, Louisiana, United States
Job Summary
Taste food, watch prep, and coach chefs on technique and menu execution across your subregion to ensure consistency. Catch food safety or quality issues early and help fix them immediately rather than documenting them later. Manage kitchen staffing and scheduling to keep every shift covered, acting as the first call for no-shows or emergencies to prevent quality drops. Coordinate with vendors to ensure kitchens have correct ingredients and prepare new house kitchens for day-one operations. Serve as the primary on-site contact for partners, handling coordination tasks while escalating relationship or contract matters to leadership.

- Enough organizational instinct to run a schedule and fix a broken sauce in the same afternoon
- A level head when a kitchen needs help right now, not next week
- The range to talk technique with a chef at 6 AM and give a partner a calm update at 10 AM
- A willingness to be on the road within your subregion
- A real interest in building a career in culinary field leadership, not just passing through
