Job Summary
Conduct food service operations including prep, delivery, set-up, cleanup, and inventory management for HallOVeen, Magical Forest, Banquets, and the Food Service Training Center. Perform pre-operation checks, ensure sanitation meets Health Department standards, and oversee production standards during leadership absences. Assist in scheduling, training, and supervising seasonal food workers and volunteers while supporting participants' goals within the Food Service Training Center. Report safety, security, and maintenance issues immediately and follow all Lock Out and Tag Out procedures. Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to support special events.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience working in the Food Service industry
- 1 year of experience supervising others
- Valid Driver's License and a clean three-year driving history
- ServSafe certification or the ability to complete certification within 3 months of hiring
- Current CPI certification within 30 days of employment
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification within 30 days of employment
- Must be able to lift approximately 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 90% of the workday
- Must be able to work flexible hours, along with weekends and holidays for special events or production needs
- Must possess social discernment to assess and understand others' reactions and behaviors
- Must encompass professional demeanor
- Must have a working knowledge of the Southern Nevada Health District policies and procedures
