Job Summary
Direct and lead Lifespace Communities' culinary operations at the Tyler, TX community. Responsibilities include ensuring resident satisfaction with quality menus and hospitality, developing strategic plans, implementing community plans, managing annual budget including labor, operations, inventory, and capital, maintaining electronic tracking systems (menu development software, timekeeping, bill-pay, POS), serving on resident culinary and quality assurance committees, safety and risk management committees, and other director-level meetings. Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; eight to ten years managing a culinary department; State Certified in Safe Food Handling and Sanitation; Certified Dietary Manager preferred; Food Handler certification within 60 days if applicable.

- Certified Dietary Manager preferred
- Food Handler certification obtained within 60 days of hire as required by state guidelines, if state certification program exists
