Culinary Dietitian (Per Diem)

Job Summary
Develop and manage evidence-based culinary medicine and medical nutrition therapy programs while supervising kitchen operations and staff. Execute teaching, mentoring, and consultation duties for dietetic interns, clinical staff, and the community. Ensure smooth delivery of high-quality care through program evaluation, compliance monitoring, and adherence to accreditation standards. Apply current research to adapt practices and participate in professional development forums. Classes run Monday through Friday, with weekend options potentially added. Shifts are approximately 6-8 hours, starting 2-3 hours prior to the 3pm class session, with 1-2 shifts per month. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition & Dietetics and RDN licensure. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition & Dietetics or closely related field
- One year of progressive experience in culinary nutrition and/or clinical dietetics
- Registration by Commission on Dietetic Registration, the Credentialing agency of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, as a Registered Dietitian
- Licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a licensed Dietitian
- Must be able to work 1-2 shifts per month
- Must be available to prepare prior to class and clean up after
- Must be available to start shift around 2-3 hours prior to class start time
- Classes usually start around 3pm
