Job Summary
Prepare nutritious and appetizing meals per physician orders, ensuring proper portion control and temperatures. Safely operate and sanitize kitchen equipment, follow menus and production sheets, monitor temperatures, document substitutions and daily temperatures, maintain cleaning and inventory records, participate in the department’s quality assurance program, and communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Six months of experience in large quantity food preparation preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
