Job Summary
Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff while adhering to menus, recipes, special dietary needs, and proper serving methods as instructed by the executive chef. Attend to residents' individual dietary needs when taking and delivering food orders, maintaining their comfort, privacy, and dignity. Work under the supervision of the executive chef and sous chef, ensuring thorough understanding of sanitation and infection control practices. This part-time role at Heritage Senior Living in Elm Grove, WI, offers Sunday shift differentials, immediate pay, and flexible scheduling with shifts ending no later than 7 P.M.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, read and write English
- Must submit and pass all applicable pre-employment and annual tests
- Meet all training and other applicable state and federal guidelines
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or 1-3 months related experience or training preferred
- Experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, cooking, plating, culinary arts, and/or hospitality is preferred
