Job Summary
Assist with food preparation according to established menus and serve residents in the dining room at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Maintain sanitation and safety procedures, clean kitchen and dining areas, and support a dignified, respectful atmosphere for residents, families, and staff. Communicate effectively with residents and follow policies, HIPAA requirements, and attendance expectations. Provide training support for new dining services staff and take initiative on special projects while upholding a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; ability to read and comprehend simple instructions; able to stand for extended periods; able to lift up to 50 pounds; training in food safety and HIPAA compliance as applicable; willingness to perform sanitation, kitchen duties, and resident-facing service.
