Job Summary
Culinary Assistant position focusing on assisting with food preparation and dining room service for residents; maintain sanitation, safety, and cleaning routines in kitchen and dining areas; assist residents at breakfast, lunch, and dinner; support a dignified, respectful dining atmosphere; follow HIPAA guidelines and policies; participate in trainings and assist with onboarding of new dining staff; teamwork-driven role with strong communication and a positive attitude toward residents, families, and colleagues.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or less than one year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; Ability to write simple correspondence; Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions; Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
