Job Summary
Prepare and serve meals to patients, visitors, and staff while maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation. Assist in planning future meals, washing and storing dishes, silverware, and utensils, and stocking required areas. Use the approved dietary manual for food preparation and storage of leftovers, and operate dish machines and three-compartment sinks properly. Communicate appropriately with patients, visitors, and staff. Requires current AZ DPS fingerprint card, Arizona food handler's card within 30 days, and CPR/BLS certification. This part-time role supports Monte Nido Rosewood Ranch's acute-care inpatient behavioral facility for eating disorder treatment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and follow directions
- Prior experience
- desire to learn portioning, preparing, and serving
- Familiarity with Safety and Sanitation practices
- Must have CPR/BLS prior to starting work
- Must possess a current AZ DPS fingerprint card
- Must obtain and maintain an Arizona food handler's card within 30 days of hire
