Job Summary
Support kitchen, dining room, and dish room under the direction of the Culinary Coordinator to ensure a high-quality dining experience for residents. Responsibilities include preparing and setting up the dining room, serving residents, transporting food to dining areas, setting/clearing tables, washing dishes, maintaining sanitation and hygiene per PPE and hair covering/hand protection regulations, reporting unsafe conditions, responding to alarms or emergencies, participating in staff meetings and in-services, assisting with scheduled activities and events, completing incident reports and work orders while protecting residents' confidentiality per HIPAA, and complying with all policies, procedures, and applicable state regulations for assisted living. The role targets high school students (14+), with preference for graduates or GED holders, and emphasizes teamwork, communication, organization, independence, and a willingness to be supervised. Required Qualifications
- High school student (14+)
- Must comply with state employment regulations
- Good communication, organizational, and listening skills
- Calm, friendly demeanor with patience and flexibility
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Basic problem-solving skills and willingness to accept supervision
- Preferred experience in elderly care or hospitality settings
