Job Summary
The Culinary Assistant will provide excellent customer service to residents, visitors, and staff, and will attend to residents’ individual dietary needs by taking and delivering food orders. Successful candidates should demonstrate a caring and compassionate attitude, possess strong customer service skills, and be able to work collaboratively as part of a team. Responsibilities include maintaining comfort, privacy, and dignity of residents, and working under the guidance of the executive chef and sous chef. Previous experience with food preparation and maintaining kitchen cleanliness is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, read and write English
- High school diploma, GED, or 1-3 months related experience or training preferred
- Must submit and pass all applicable pre-employment and annual tests and meet all training and other applicable state and federal guidelines
