Culinary Assistant

Support kitchen, dining room, and dish room operations to ensure a high-quality dining experience for residents. Responsibilities include preparing and setting up the dining room, serving residents, transporting food, washing dishes, and maintaining sanitation and hygiene per PPE and hair-covering/hand-protection requirements. Assist with incidents, reports, and upkeep of confidentiality under HIPAA; participate in staff meetings, in-services, and food service safety committees; and aid with scheduled activities and events as requested. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team, communicate effectively, adapt to supervision, and have basic problem-solving skills. Preferred experience in elderly care or hospitality settings.
