Job Summary
Culinary Arts Instructor responsible for academic and career technical trade instruction per approved curricula; provide training and basic guidance to help students achieve academic and trade goals; motivate and counsel students in behavior, training, and study habits; coordinate with counselors and staff to resolve training/instruction issues; develop and prepare lessons per approved curriculum guidelines, recommend curricula changes and supplemental materials; maintain an organized, safe training environment; participate in student assessment panels and perform documentation using CIS and other systems.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current ServSafe certification
- experience instructing or supervising in a professional environment
- A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
