Job Summary
Develop and review curriculum mapping, pacing guides, and lesson plans for Culinary Arts I & II and Advanced Culinary Arts courses. Deliver instruction in food labs and classrooms while employing varied instructional techniques, technology, and performance assessments to engage students with diverse learning needs. Organize special culinary events, maintain material inventories, and communicate regularly with students, parents, and professionals. Attend professional development to stay current on research and participate in collaborative staff meetings. Manage performance goals and fulfill other duties as assigned by administration.
Required Qualifications
- A valid and current Illinois State PEL in High School or eligibility
- Demonstrated success and understanding of Family
- Able to build professional relationships, solve problems, and plan collaboratively
