Job Summary
Culinary Aide responsible for preparing and delivering patient meals and supporting cafeteria, mobile meals, vending, and catering services. Duties include preparing diets as ordered, serving and busing, stocking café and unit kitchens, assisting with food and supply ordering, following food safety regulations, labeling items, handling patient trays and room service calls, and assisting with menu choices within dietary restrictions. Must maintain safe, sanitary equipment, and communicate with other departments. Schedule features five 8-hour days (11:15am-7:45pm) with rotating weekends; on-call none. Education: some high school required, with preference for a high school diploma. Certification in ServSafe or equivalent is preferred. The role emphasizes teamwork and patient safety within Sauk Prairie Healthcare’s dining services.
