Job Summary
Prepare dining room tables, serve food and beverages to residents, and maintain kitchen and dining area cleanliness. Take resident food orders, present menus, and assist with special events as needed. Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies while interacting with residents in a courteous, empathetic, and cooperative manner. Perform basic cleaning tasks and other duties assigned by the supervisor. This full-time position at Jefferson House memory care includes health, dental, vision, and HSA benefits, with a pay range of $18–$19/hour. Shifts run Sunday through Wednesday from 9 AM to 6 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Positive impersonal skills
- Food handler's card
- Basic math skills
- Ability to lift 15 pounds
- Customer service experience
- Drug free status
- Willingness to submit to drug screening upon hire and routinely
- Ability to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations
