Job Summary
Safely load and unload trucks using a forklift while pulling, preparing, and organizing equipment and materials for daily technician assignments. Receive, stock, and organize inventory; issue and return customer premise equipment (CPE) using EIS and Excel to maintain accurate records. Perform equipment retrievals from customer homes using a company vehicle and pick up supplies from local vendors. Keep the warehouse, technician room, and storage areas clean, organized, and safe by following all company safety procedures and inventory control standards. Assist with general warehouse operations and special projects.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Must be at least 23 years old for insurance purposes
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Excel, and inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 80 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, squat, and walk for extended periods
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights up to 30 feet when necessary
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends as business needs require
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous warehouse, inventory, logistics, or forklift experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)
- Forklift certification is a plus
