Job Summary
Support multi-asset trade execution and electronic order flow monitoring while assisting with systematic portfolio construction, execution workflows, and connectivity checks. Perform daily system checks, validate portfolio data, and help manage corporate actions, then troubleshoot trading and portfolio system issues, escalating when needed. Collaborate with portfolio managers, technology teams, and brokers across US/EU regions. Requires 1-3 years in trading operations or electronic execution, Python or similar programming, SQL, and strong cross-timezone communication skills. Based in a small, globally distributed team focused on learning and technical growth within the QBEX group.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years in trading operations, electronic execution, or a similar market‐facing role
- Basic understanding of the order lifecycle
- Experience with Python or another programming language
- Familiarity with SQL and comfort working with data
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across time zones
- Highly organized, detail‐oriented, and proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience working on small, collaborative teams
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to market microstructure or execution algorithms
- Experience with Linux
- Some experience or exposure to Fixed Income, Options, TBA, CDX, or Inflation/Rates trading
