Job Summary
Teach basic principles of vocational skills; collaborate with academic instructors to deliver applied academics; maintain classroom discipline; prepare and organize curriculum; support students in obtaining industry certifications; maintain student records; assist with resumes; provide accommodations for students with disabilities; tailor instruction to learning styles; ensure compliance with TARs and state testing/certification requirements; develop year-round job-shadowing opportunities; leverage Microsoft Office tools.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified, licensed, or accredited in the state in which the Center is located or is accredited by a professional trade organization.
- For NTC, instructor must be certified by union or trade organization, or by a national trade certifying organization.
- Valid State Driver's License.
