Job Summary
Founding CTO / Founding Engineer role focused on Geospatial services for a Commercial Real Estate startup. Build a core technology service to support both internal needs and external deployments, with emphasis on cross-platform mobile experiences. Collaborate closely with the CEO, Product Manager, and end-users to architect and implement core technology solutions; lead development of both frontend and backend services aligned to product requirements and user feedback; contribute to data strategy through partnerships and innovative solutions; maintain performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application; uphold high standards of code quality and organization and promote best practices throughout development.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Proficiency in building modern, interactive experiences for mobile applications, ideally using React Native or similar frameworks
- Mobile app development experience (Android or iOS)
- Familiarity with GIS-based applications and spatial data management
- Dedication to well-tested, modular, and maintainable code
- Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in fast-paced startup environments
