Job Summary
Lead from the front to design, build, and prove the first AI-driven capability for Next Chapter Technology (NCT) as part of Banyan Software. Own AI-first modernization by implementing RAG systems, code generation, LLM orchestration, and multi-agent workflows to analyze legacy code and deliver production-ready services. Pragmatically refactor legacy components into scalable cloud-native services and replace manual workflows with AI-driven automation. Transition into phased engineering leadership, managing delivery outcomes, elevating talent density, setting engineering rhythms, and mentoring developers into an AI-native way of working. Ensure safe, compliant execution within government-adjacent and public-sector compliance frameworks (HIPAA, CJIS) using feature flags, shadow mode, and monitoring. Act as the core technical partner to the CEO, collaborating with Banyan’s AI initiatives to accelerate product value. Must be US-based and fully eligible for government-adjacent/public-sector compliance work.
