CTO & Co-founder (Robotics Automation)

Job Summary
CTO & Co-founder leading hands-on development of a robotics automation platform and co-managing the startup with a commercial co-founder. Architect MVP, define tech stack and scalable architecture, drive R&D in robotics/AI, build and mentor a small engineering team, translate customer feedback into robust technical requirements, and shape engineering culture with emphasis on code quality, ownership, rapid iteration, and security. Remote/EU location in early-stage startup with equal technical ownership and potential for equity, including fundraising exposure. Requires 3+ years in leadership roles and hands-on robotics experience, strong software engineering background, entrepreneurial mindset, and fluency in Polish and English.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of leadership experience in startups or tech companies (e.g., Lead Engineer, Tech Lead, Architect, or CTO)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with robotics technologies (ROS/ROS2, simulation environments, computer vision, or control systems)
- Strong software engineering background with proven experience in building scalable platforms, products, or deep-tech architecture from scratch
- Entrepreneurial mindset — pragmatic execution and shipping fast in an early-stage setup
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, able to operate in fast-paced, high-uncertainty environments
- Fluent Polish and English (spoken and written)
