Job Summary
Define and drive the long-term technology vision, roadmap, and architectural standards for DECA's platform. Oversee infrastructure, product engineering, DevOps, QA, and compliance readiness across GCP environments. Build and lead a high-performing technical team of DevOps, QA, and full stack developers while championing security, testing discipline, and automation. Own the design and evolution of platform architecture to ensure high availability, reliability, and SOC 2/ISO 27001 audit readiness. Partner with executive peers and cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with client impact and advise on investment and vendor decisions. Report directly to the CEO. Monday through Fridays, 9am to 6pm.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in engineering or technology leadership
- prior experience as a CTO or VP Engineering
- Proven experience scaling platforms from early-stage to growth
- Deep understanding of DevOps practices
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycles
- Deep understanding of audit frameworks
- Expertise in cloud infrastructure
- Expertise in security operations
- Expertise in data governance
- Executive presence
