CTI Technical Services Specialist

Job Summary
Provide customers with technical expertise related to palatant applications and documentation. Conduct laboratory trials, shelf-life assessments, and product safety testing to support customer success. Prepare technical reports, manage product specifications, and coordinate complaint investigations with Regulatory and Quality Assurance teams. Collaborate with Sales and R&D partners to solve complex technical challenges and influence future product development. Manage customer sample shipments and oversee transitions from sample phase to production while maintaining team dashboards. This role supports the North America Customer Technical Insights team at AFB International, a global leader in pet food palatability enhancers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Animal Nutrition, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in the food or feed ingredient industry
- Experience in Technical Applications, R&D, or Customer Technical Service
- Fluent English communication skills and comfort working in an international environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative mindset with strong teamwork and networking skills
- Customer-focused approach with an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales and R&D teams
