Job Summary
CTE Welding Instructor at the high school level responsible for planning and delivering welding instruction within the Career and Technical Education framework. Develops and administers lesson plans, delivers group and individual instruction, and collaborates with other teachers and administrators. Manages classroom operations, assesses student progress, and maintains safe learning environments. Supervises students, directs assistant teachers and volunteers, communicates with parents/guardians regarding progress, and contributes to school improvement by coordinating resources and documenting student outcomes. Requires appropriate SC educator certification and a valid teaching certificate with endorsements; duties include developing instructional programs, administering assessments, and supporting student achievement in welding subject areas.
