Job Summary
High School CTE Technology Education Teacher responsible for developing and delivering state-aligned curriculum, coordinating with the Director of Career & Technical Education to provide a consistent program, planning individualized study programs to meet student needs, conducting safety training, maintaining records for local and state reports, and supporting student leadership opportunities. The role involves curriculum development with the CTE Director, collaboration with staff development, travel within the district and state, and ensuring students graduate with competencies aligned to the curriculum. Requires a Bachelor's degree and valid Texas teaching certification; travel within the district/state and active engagement in professional activities to maintain CTE standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Texas teaching certification
- Preferred: At least one year of student teaching or approved internship
