CTE Teacher - Computer Programming, Video Game Design and Digital Photography

Job Summary
Teaches computer programming, video game design, and digital photography to high school students, develops and delivers lesson plans aligned with district standards, leads hands-on projects and demonstrations, and coordinates field trips. Reads and implements curriculum, engages in co-teaching as needed, differentiates instruction to meet diverse learners, and uses assessments to monitor student progress. Builds partnerships with families, maintains attendance and records, follows district policies on reporting incidents, and participates in DEI initiatives and ongoing professional development. Maintains organized materials and supports paraeducators and student helpers, communicating effectively with families about student progress and program goals. May teach under modular or flexible scheduling plans and contribute to curriculum development across the district.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, including courses needed to meet credential requirements
- A valid single subject Industrial and Technology Education (ITE) Credential or CTE: Arts, Media, Entertainment and CTE: Information and communication Technologies
- English Learner Authorization
