Job Summary
Instructs high-school students in Carpentry/Construction within the district curriculum, creating a positive learning environment and fostering strong academic, social, physical, and emotional growth. Responsibilities include delivering CTE content, planning and implementing lessons aligned to the district’s Carpentry/Construction program, managing the classroom, assessing student progress, and supporting students toward district academic goals. Ideal candidates will hold a State of Alaska Type M Limited Certificate with a Carpentry or Construction endorsement and meet all state and federal requirements for the content area, contributing to a collaborative school community and leveraging district resources to promote student mastery of technical skills and career readiness.
