CTE (FACS) Teacher at J.H. Rose High School

Plan and deliver instruction in Family and Consumer Sciences courses including Career Management, Culinary, Hospitality, and Early Childhood Development. Create a supportive classroom and lab environment while developing lesson plans that meet diverse student needs. Assess student progress, manage classroom and computer lab activities, and teach practical life skills such as financial literacy and health and wellness. Support student participation in CTE organizations and competitions, participate in field trips to colleges and workplaces, and build partnerships with local businesses. Maintain accurate records and follow all North Carolina Department of Public Instruction and Pitt County Schools policies. This 10-month position supports student success in nutrition, child development, and career readiness within the district's CTE program.
