Job Summary
CTE Criminal Justice Teacher, Grades 9-12 (OHVA). Delivers online, synchronous and asynchronous instruction to high school students; differentiates instruction to meet individual learning needs; maintains grade book and uses Stride K12’s LMS to monitor progress; collaborates with families/parents and students to plan post-secondary success; supports learning coaches; travels up to 25% for face-to-face PD, student testing, and required activities; must hold a state CTE teaching certification or a certified high school teacher with CTE validation; full-time position with typical 9-5/home-office setup and 40+ hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Active CTE state teaching certification OR Active high school grade level state teaching certification with CTE Validation
- Ability to clear required background check(s)
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word; PowerPoint
- Experience teaching online or in virtual environment (desirable)
- Experience with project-based learning (desirable)
