Job Summary
CTE/Business Teacher responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with district curriculum, preparing assessments, and differentiating instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles. Collaborates with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs, uses technology to enhance teaching, supervises teacher aides and volunteers, sponsors extracurricular activities, and maintains open communication with parents, students, and colleagues while adhering to district/school policies and state regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned
- Technology Education Certification required
- Demonstrated competency in the core or required academic subject area assigned
