Job Summary
CTE Business Teacher for 2026-2027 school year in Amherst County Public Schools. Develop and implement a CTE educational program focusing on entrepreneurship and business law; guide student learning, ensure safety and appropriate classroom environment, evaluate student progress, maintain records, stay current with教育 policy, and contribute to the total school program. May facilitate Work Based Learning internships with local businesses. License/endorsement required in Business Education or Business Information Systems; Praxis path available for added endorsement. Exempt status with 10-month contract; in-person teaching at Amherst, VA.
Required Qualifications
- Valid certification to meet state requirements with endorsement in Business Education or Business and Information Systems; endorsement for Business and Information Systems; Praxis endorsement path if already licensed in another area.
