Job Summary
CTE Auto Mechanics Teacher to plan, organize, and present instruction aligned with the NC Standard Course of Study; lead in collaboration with school personnel to create a professional learning community; foster an inclusive classroom environment; employ diverse instructional methods and technology to maximize student learning; assess student progress using multiple indicators; collaborate with families and the community; maintain high ethical standards and professional conduct; support students' critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership development; fulfill all duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Education
- Three years’ work experience or certification in network administration (Novell, Linux, or Microsoft) or be able to obtain a provisional business education license and meet the certification requirements for network administration
- Minimum requirements for a provisional license are a Bachelor’s Degree in a business field with a minimum of three years of work experience in a network (Novell, Microsoft, and/or Linux) within the past five years.
- Must be able to occasionally lift/carry up to 20 pounds.
- Must be able to occasionally push/pull up to 20 pounds.
- Must be able to occasionally perform the following: stooping, fine manipulation, grasping, bending, handling, and reaching.
